报告摘要

The multi-band emission of the Vela and Crab pulsar can range from 10 TeV to radio wave, which sets unprecedented constraints on the long-term problems of mechanism and location pulsar emission. Here presents a mechanism based on a forced magnetic reconnection in the vicinity of pulsar light cylinder, which not only well accounts for in phased multi-band emission, but also off set Gamma-ray component of the Crab pulsar like pulsars. These results shed new light on the long term problem: origin of coherent emission in pulsar magnetosphere.

嘉宾简介

龚碧平，1992年获中山大学引力物理专业硕士学位，2001年获香港大学博士学位；2001-2005年南京大学做博士后；2005-2006年法国空间辐射研究所 CESR 访问学者；2006年任教于华中科技大学，国际天文学会会员。主要研究方向为脉冲星物理，致密天体喷流视觉超光速运动机理。
