报告摘要
Ultracold atoms in optical lattices provide a versatile platform to study strongly correlated quantum matter, where both lattice geometry and interactions can be precisely controlled. In this talk, I will first discuss dipolar bosons in twisted bilayers. We show that the twist angle acts as a new degree of freedom: at very small angles the system supports paired superfluid and supersolid phases; a slight increase destabilizes these paired states in favor of phase separation between checkerboard solids and superfluids; and at larger twist angles, the density follows the moiré pattern, forming insulating islands surrounded by superfluid. In the second part, I will turn to the Bose-Hubbard model on a honeycomb superlattice. Here, the competition between onsite interaction and lattice modulation produces superfluid, uniform Mott insulator, and density-imbalanced Mott insulator phases, with continuous superfluid–insulator transitions and a robust finite-temperature superfluid regime. These two studies together highlight how geometry and interactions can be combined to engineer novel quantum states of bosons, offering concrete predictions for forthcoming cold-atom experiments.
